Jim Stutz made the long trip from Tempe, Arizona to Chattanooga, Tennessee to attend the 2019 US IPMS National Convention. He entered the Orel, Imperial Russian battleship, made from the Combrig 1:700 scale kit. He used multiple brass photo-etch
sets: railing from Lion Roar; inclined ladders and support triangles from 5 Star; the 170 figures from Eduard, painted with Citadel paint; vertical ladders from Infini; auxiliary boat davits from Rainbow; and the ship's bow crest from 5 Star. The cranes were
scratch-built from brass. Rigging is from very fine Easy Line. The model was painted with tube oil and Citadel paints.
