This is my build of the Combrig 1:350 scale Suchena kit, which I reviewed for Steel Navy (http://www.steelnavy.net/CombrigSuchena350FBustelo.html). The model was fairly straight forward to build but I really don’t like railings with individual stanchion ends as I find them a bit of a pain to work with and I tend to use too much glue to attach them. For the rigging, I used .005 inch Nitinol wire cut to size. I added North Star Models Imperial Russian Sailor figures, photo-etch anchor chain and life rings from L’Arsenal and a flag from Combrig’s decal sheet . The seascape was done using artist’s acrylic gel and paints.
