Jerry Jackson made the long trip from California to eastern Tennessee to place his build of the Japanese Battleship Yamashiro in 1944 fit into the battleship gun fight at the 2019 US IPMS National Convention. The kit is the 1:700 scale model of
Yamashiro from Fujimi. Jerry used brass photo-etch for the single 25mm guns. For the twin and triple 25mm mounts he used 3D printed parts. The ship was weathered with oils, watercolor paints and Prisma pencils. The deck was hand painted and
then detailed with Prisma pencils. The rigging was weaved with One Line. Winner
3rd Place Battleships in 1:700 Scale.
