This is my newest model, the French predreadnought battleship Marceau.  I've always wanted to build a model of this ship.  I love French designs of the late 19th
and early 20th century.  I was deterred by concerns about the complexity of the tumblehome hull, but these fears proved to be groundless as I had no difficulty at all
shaping the cardboard to fit the outlines of the hull.  I only wish that I could build models as well as I could 20 years ago.  Funny, I have learned so much about
techniques but somehow don't execute as well.  However, I still love the process of putting a model together.  The model is built in 1/550 scale.
