I built this as a composite diorama that can be one part or two different models of the 1/350 scale Trumpeter North Carolina and the Merit Enterprise,as they were in
1942. The Enterprise probably had a few 20mm Oerlikons less, but I couldn't be sure in the end so I left it as it is now. I used 20mm Oerlikons from 3D Modelparts,
as well as Gold Medal Models and Eduard photo-etch for catwalks etc,North Star 3d figures, and Flyhawk Model photo-etch for canopies, torpedoes and bombs for
the planes.
