Here are photographs of my 1/700 scale Tom’s Modelworks USS Enterprise CV-6 circa 1944. This is a great kit that includes photo-etch and great decals from
Starfighter Decals. In addition, I added the following:
Trumpeter F6F, SB2C, and TBF aircraft, folding the wings for all of them (there are about 68 aircraft on deck and in the hangar deck)
Fine Molds Nano quad and twin 40mm guns
Fine Molds Nano 5”/38 guns
Corsair Armanda 20mm guns
Various scratch built braces and platforms, as well as speakers on the island
I carved out a lot of the hangar deck roll-up doors and hand painted the deck markings because I am afraid of decals.
