Dave Mezera of Indiana added to his fleet of the Royal Navy with this build of the HMS Royal Oak, the only one of the five glorious R Class battleships. The Royal Oak was entered into the competition at the 2019 US IPMS Convention in Chattanooga,
Tennessee and used the WSW kit in 1:700 scale. The rigging was done with stretched sprue and weathering was done with pastel chalks. White Ensign Models brass photo-etch details were used and figures from Tom's Modelworks and Gold Medal
Models. Liqutex gel was used for the sea base.
