I bought this on e-bay because it was so unique, This is a 1:700 scale Strombecker USS Tennessee that somebody turned into a reconstructed
Idaho-Mississippi. This was truly a skilled modeler to do this because even the basic hulls were radically different and he got it right. Whoever made the
turrets and superstructure from scratch wood and did a good job. I have never seen this done which is why I bought it to add to my 1930s collection.
Thought the group might enjoy seeing it. The modeler who made this is probably long since deceased but his work remains.
